FF Forest review 2025 – Up to 18% with forestry

FF Forest* is a new and exciting platform that promises to combine interest rates with forestry, and not just a little. The team is currently talking about an annual interest rate of 18% with daily interest payments, which would make FF Forest one of the most profitable platforms in this segment at the moment.

At the same time, there are a few points that may initially deter potential investors, primarily the topic of blockchain and crypto. I was also skeptical at first, and I usually stay away from such concepts, but in this case, the combination of sustainability, returns, and technology convinced me.

As always, I invested myself before writing this article, in this case around EUR 10,000 + 3% cashback. This allows me to show you not only the theory, but also my real experiences as an investor, because the platform has actually been in my portfolio since its launch in September. However, I let the project run for a while before writing about it, because I wanted to understand it in its entirety.

What is FF Forest?

FF Forest is a new platform that allows private investors to invest in tokenized forest areas and earn interest at the same time. As with traditional P2P platforms, there is a real asset in the background, in this case forests in Latvia, combined with blockchain technology for transparency and tradability. The cool thing is that you can invest with cryptocurrencies, but you don’t have to.

The most important features at a glance:

  • Daily interest credit from day one, currently advertised at 18% p.a.
  • Investments possible from EUR 500 or USDC 500.
  • Investment in real forest areas in Latvia, verifiably tokenized via blockchain.
  • CO₂ certificates as an additional ecological impact and potential source of income.
  • Planned secondary market for trading tokens.
  • Digital management & high transparency through blockchain technology.
  • It is possible to connect your own Web3 wallet and manage and control the tokens yourself!

What exactly is FF Forest all about?

Let’s now go into the details. SIA FF Forest operates specifically in Latvia. Its goal is to raise money from private investors and, in return, give them access to a supposedly profitable sector. At the same time, the company uses modern technologies to maximize profits.

To this end, FF Forest works closely with two partners. Timbro (company profile), a rapidly expanding forestry company that handles the entire process from land purchase, management, and harvesting to reforestation, and Apply, a leading developer of AI-powered hardware solutions in Northern Europe. Apply (company profile) supplies machines and systems that increase speed and profitability, giving FF Forest a clear competitive advantage.

Furthermore, the software core is based on the FinForta* platform, which has been on the market for some time and is also very interesting. The team that maintains and develops the software is also identical.

The business model is simple but coherent. FF Forest buys undervalued, already deforested land in Latvia. Usable areas are strategically managed and selected areas are reforested to generate CO₂ certificates. At the same time, agricultural land is sold to farmers to generate short-term income. Once a certain area size is reached, FF Forest refinances its portfolio through banks or other financial institutions in order to use the funds more efficiently and acquire new land.

The legal protection is particularly interesting for investors. In cooperation with the Latvian Blockchain Association, a framework has been created that records the usage and income rights of investors in both official state registers and on the blockchain. This creates a high degree of transparency and independence. FF Forest thus combines a real asset, namely a forest area, with the advantages of tokenization and promises its investors not only an ecological impact but also an attractive return of, as mentioned at the beginning, 18% p.a. with daily distributions.
